Canadian organization Daneson is in the business of manufacturing toothpicks exclusively from northern white birch wood, and then imbuing them with flavors derived from specially concocted recipes of nearby and organic components. Amongst the five flavors supplied: Salted Birch No. eight, “soaked and rolled in sea salt,” and Single Malt No. 16, dipped in barrel-aged single malt scotch. Handsome packaging—amber check tube vials with cork toppers, and ample curiosity to typography—help sustain the value at a lofty $ 19.99 for a four-vial set containing batches of 12 toothpicks.
