Bella Trien’s Fig Surprise Quiche Lovilee Recipe

Vegetable filling:

• 250g Gem squash
• 125g Purple onions
• 125g Infant marrows

Plus:

• 125g Preserved green figs
• 5 slices of Parma ham
• two Feta cheese wheels

Crust:

• 125g Cheddar Cheese
• 125g Butter
• one Garlic Cloves
• 125g Flour
• Salt and Pepper to taste

Eggcream

• 250ml Cream
• 150ml Milk
• 3 Eggs
• Salt and Pepper to taste

Approach:

1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 C.
2. First make the crust by mixing the cheese, butter and garlic together.
3. Add the flour, salt & pepper to the mixture till it varieties a ball.
4. Press out the mixture into a pastry pan, until finally all the sides and base are covered and place in the fridge.
5. Drizzle the veggies with olive oil and brown them in the oven.
6. Awesome the veggies down and organize them, with each other with the other filling substances on the crust.
7. Combine all the ingredients for the Eggcream collectively and pour over the veggies.
8. Bake for 30 mins in the oven.
