Reinier de Jong is a Dutch designer who likes to keep items simple and sophisticated. He believes his projects need to be robust sufficient to go without having obtaining explanation and this modest bookcase type certainly speaks for itself. However, the story behind REK bookcase jr. goes like this: “In spite of the iPad and its numerous toddler apps, my two-year-outdated son is quite fond of his small books.
