The Wurster Property in San Francisco, California, received a new and modern day makeover by Jennifer Weiss Architecture with the addition of a new glass fronted kitchen area that blends seamlessly into the pre-present huge residing zone just beyond. The residing zone was also opened up to the inner courtyard with the use of floor to ceiling glazing. The mixture of the new kitchen and huge expanses of glass has made a third easy access outdoors zone in the courtyard that is now portion of, rather then separate from, the interior volumes.
